What To Bring

Please bring several pairs of shoes along to the appointment. This indicates both the amount of space within shoes worn and the choice of the materials to be used. The wear marks also give indication where active pressure is placed when walking and running and reinforces information from the biomechanical assessment.

Private Medical Insurance

Foot orthotics and biomechanical assessments are covered by some private insurance schemes. More recently the vast majority of patients I see do not have private schemes due to many private health companies not covering orthotics or biomechanical assessments. It is just one area where policies have been reduced.
